01
What counts as a Thread
Threads can represent relationships between people, an inhabitant and a home, a traveler and a known destination, or a magical operation and its target. A Thread is not necessarily affection or allegiance. The strength and type of relationship matter.
02
Working with Threads
A practitioner may perceive or manipulate some Threads by spending Lumen and meeting the Law of Correspondence. Constructing a shortcut to a known location is easier than reaching a wholly unknown destination.
03
Respecting agency
Manipulating metaphysical relationships does not mean creating authentic trust, love, or consent on command. Mental coercion is not an automatic function of Threadbinding, and any unusual exception would require explicit future lore decisions.
04
The special case
The Eclipse Thread is a permanent, atemporal bond connecting Lunor and the Sanctum. It cannot be completely severed, though interference may block its practical use.
