01
What a Signature does
A Signature identifies what something is at the most fundamental level. It is more than a legal name, face, or collection of memories. Disguises, illusions, and changes in physical form do not normally produce a new fundamental Signature.
02
Resistance
A strongly established Signature tends to resist changes that contradict its existing nature. The difficulty may increase with the complexity of an entity and the strength of its own understanding of itself.
03
Constants
The Signatures of Lunor and the Sanctum are invariant. Neither can be overwritten or permanently erased through ordinary magical operations. That protection does not extend automatically to every possession, friend, room, or memory associated with them.
