The choice
A Wayfarer approaches the central mosaic in the Hall of Arrivals and rests a hand upon its surface. The Sanctum recognizes their unique Signature. Only if they willingly accept the Connection does a small thread of light extend from the mosaic and briefly illuminate their hand.
The light may be cyan, orange, silver, or another color depending on the individual. The Thread settles into the Root, imperceptible under ordinary circumstances.

No binding contract
Lunor may witness the ceremony, but his presence is not necessary. There is no dangerous ritual or oath of obedience. An Eclipsebound may choose to release the Connection.
This ceremony is fictional developing lore, not a requirement for joining the real community.
