A bond without beginning
The Eclipse Thread appears to have formed during the Unwritten Eclipse. Its origin is paradoxical: once the Root recognized Lunor as a constant, the relationship became true across all time.

Not ownership
The bond does not imply that Lunor created the Sanctum or commands its every secret. Nor does it mean the Sanctum created Lunor. They are independent constants with a singular relationship.

Practical functions
The Thread may help Lunor recognize the Sanctum, find compatible Thresholds, coordinate certain magical effects, and eventually return home through otherwise impossible routes.

Interference
The Thread cannot be fully destroyed through ordinary magic, but a particular pathway or ability could be sealed. Being connected is not the same as having unlimited access.
